David Sharpe



Dave Sharpe (1910-1980) has appeared in over 4,500 films. He has doubled many actors including Tony Curtis, Marlon Brando, John Derek, Alan Ladd, and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. His career spans over 50 years.

Dave was also an excellent horseman. Doubling Allan "Rocky" Lane, Dave bulldogs stuntman Duke Taylor in the 1940 Republic serial, "King of the Royal Mounted."

One of Dave's specialties was his famous flying leaps, like this one from the 1949 Republic serial, "King of the Rocket Men."
